What Is a Tickling Fetish?
A tickling fetish is an interest in tickling or being tickled that goes beyond simply finding it funny. For some people, tickling is playful. For others, the loss of control, anticipation and inability to stop laughing can become part of a BDSM or fetish experience.
Tickle torture sounds quite extreme, but it can actually range from very light and playful tickling to something much more intense. It really depends on what you enjoy, how ticklish you are and what you’ve agreed to beforehand.
Some people like being restrained so they can’t simply move away from the sensation. Others don’t want bondage at all and just enjoy being tickled.
If you’re looking for a tickle torture Mistress in London, I also offer private tickling sessions in East London. First timers are welcome and sessions can be playful or more intense depending on what you want to experience. I’ve explained more about my London tickling sessions further down this page.
What Is Tickle Torture?
Tickle torture is prolonged or deliberately targeted tickling, often focused on the areas where somebody is most sensitive.
Despite the name, it doesn’t necessarily have to be an incredibly intense experience.
Someone might enjoy gentle teasing and trying not to laugh. Somebody else might specifically enjoy being restrained and knowing they can’t simply pull their feet away when the tickling starts.
That’s one of the things that makes tickling interesting within BDSM. The exact same sensation can feel completely different depending on the situation around it.
Why Do People Have a Tickling Fetish?
There isn’t one reason.
Some people enjoy the physical sensation itself. Some like laughing and the feeling of release that comes with it. Others enjoy the anticipation of knowing they’re about to be tickled.
For somebody who enjoys submission, being unable to control their reaction can also be part of the appeal.
You might be determined not to laugh and then discover that one particular spot completely ruins that plan.
Other people don’t consider themselves submissive at all. They simply have a strong tickling fetish and enjoy the sensation.
I think that’s one of the interesting things about fetishes generally. Something that seems completely ordinary to one person can be incredibly exciting to somebody else.
What Is Knismolagnia?
Knismolagnia is a term used for sexual arousal or pleasure connected to tickling.
You might also come across the word knismesis, which describes the much lighter tickling sensation you might get from something gently moving across the skin.
Gargalesis refers to the stronger type of tickling that causes involuntary laughter.
Someone with a tickling fetish might enjoy one or both. Light teasing can sometimes be just as interesting as immediately going for the most ticklish spot.
Tickle Torture and BDSM
Tickling can work particularly well within BDSM because it’s naturally connected to control.
If you’re free to move, your instinct when somebody finds a very ticklish area is probably to move away.
If you’ve agreed to be restrained, you can’t do that quite so easily.
For someone who enjoys dominance and submission, that can completely change the experience. You’re allowing another person to decide when the tickling starts, where you’re tickled and when you get a break.
But enjoying tickling doesn’t mean you have to identify as a slave or even particularly submissive.
If you’re interested in the wider power exchange side of BDSM, I’ve also written about BDSM Slave Rules and how I personally approach rules, obedience and submission.
Where Are People Most Ticklish?
Everyone is different, which is part of the fun of finding out.
Common ticklish areas include:
- Feet and soles
- Armpits
- Ribs and sides
- Stomach
- Inner thighs
- Neck
- Back
You might already know exactly where you’re most ticklish. You might also discover somewhere you didn’t realise was sensitive at all.
The back is a good example. It isn’t necessarily the first place people think about when they imagine tickling, but some people are surprisingly sensitive there.
Foot Tickling and Foot Fetishes
Feet are probably one of the areas most commonly associated with tickling. For somebody with very ticklish feet, simply knowing that somebody has access to their soles can create a lot of anticipation.
But a foot fetish and a tickling fetish aren’t necessarily the same thing.
Some people want their own feet tickled. Some are attracted to somebody else’s feet. Some enjoy both interests together.
If your interest is particularly focused on feet, you can read more on my Foot Fetish London page.
I also offer Foot Worship London sessions for people who are more interested in worshipping and pampering my feet than having their own tickled.
What Can Be Used for Tickling?
Fingers are the obvious answer, but they’re definitely not the only option.
Different objects create completely different sensations. Fingers and nails can be used in different ways, while feathers and brushes can create much lighter sensations across sensitive skin.
Part of exploring a tickling fetish can simply be working out what gets the biggest reaction from you.
If you’re booking a session with me and there’s something particular you enjoy being tickled with, you’re welcome to discuss it with me beforehand and bring suitable items with you if you want to.
Tickling and Restraint
Restraint can completely change tickling because it removes the easiest response: moving away.
I can incorporate rope restraint into a tickling session if that’s something you want to experience.
That doesn’t mean every tickling session needs bondage. It depends entirely on the experience you’re looking for.
For somebody exploring tickle BDSM for the first time, we can also start without restraint and see how you respond before deciding whether you want to add anything else.
Safewords and Tickle Torture
One thing that’s slightly different about tickle torture is that you might be laughing so much that speaking properly becomes difficult. If you’re gagged, obviously you may not be able to say a normal safeword at all.
Before we start, we’ll agree on a clear way for you to tell me to stop. If you can speak normally, we can use a safeword. If you’re gagged or likely to struggle to speak, we’ll use an agreed sound or movement instead.
It needs to be something I can easily recognise and something you can still do while you’re being tickled.
If it’s your first tickling session, I’ll also give you breaks and check how you’re finding it. You might have imagined wanting something extremely intense and then discover that you’re far more ticklish than you realised. Or you might find you can handle much more than you expected.
The point isn’t to prove how much you can tolerate. We can find the level that actually makes the experience enjoyable for you.
Can Tickle Torture Be Gentle?
Definitely.
Not everybody who contacts a tickle torture Mistress wants to be pushed to their absolute limit.
You might want a playful experience where you’re allowed regular breaks. You might want to explore different areas and find out which ones get the strongest reaction. Or you might already know that you want something considerably more intense.
Tell me what you’re imagining rather than trying to choose what you think you’re supposed to want.
What If I’ve Never Tried Tickle BDSM Before?
That’s completely fine.
Sometimes you’ve thought about a fetish for years without ever actually trying it. The reality can feel quite different from imagining it.
With a first-time tickling session, I prefer to test things and see what you can actually handle.
We’ll have breaks in between so you can tell me whether the intensity is right and whether the experience feels how you expected it to feel.
You don’t have to arrive already knowing all of your ticklish spots either. We can find those out.
Do I Have to Be Submissive?
No.
You might enjoy submission and the feeling of giving somebody else control, but you might equally just have a tickling fetish.
You don’t need to pretend to be my slave just because you want me to tickle you.
You do, however, need to be respectful. Not being submissive doesn’t mean turning up and being demanding or bossy with me.
Do You Let Clients Tickle You?
No.
I’m the one doing the tickling in my sessions. I absolutely hate being tickled myself, so we’re definitely not swapping places!
If what excites you is being tickled by a woman or a Dominatrix, then that’s something we can explore. If you’re looking for somebody for you to tickle, I’m not the right person for that.
Tickle Torture Sessions in London
If you’ve read all of this and decided you’d rather experience it than just read about it, I offer private tickle torture sessions in East London.
I’m the tickler and the session is built around what you want to experience.
You can be restrained with rope if that’s part of your fantasy. A gag can also be incorporated if that’s something we’ve agreed beforehand, with an appropriate nonverbal stop signal in place.
I can use my fingers, nails, feathers, brushes and other suitable items. You’re also welcome to bring something specific you’d like me to use, although we’ll discuss it first.
We can explore areas including your feet, armpits, ribs, stomach, thighs and back to find out where you’re most sensitive.
You also need to tell me how intense you want the experience to be.
Some people want something playful and manageable. Others specifically want a much more intense tickle torture experience. I’m happy to explore different levels, but communication is important.
If it’s your first time, we’ll take breaks and see how you’re actually finding it rather than assuming what you imagined and what you enjoy in reality will necessarily be exactly the same.
Tickling can potentially be combined with other things depending on what you’re interested in. Tell me what you have in mind when you contact me and we can discuss whether it works.
How Much Is a Tickle Torture Session?
One hour in East London: £200
One hour if I travel to you: £250 plus my taxi costs
First timers are welcome.
When you contact me, it helps if you tell me:
- Whether you’ve tried tickling sessions before
- Where you think you’re most ticklish
- How intense you want the session to be
- Whether you’re interested in rope restraint
- Whether you’re interested in using a gag
- Anything you’d particularly like me to use
- Your boundaries and anything you don’t want included
Why I Offer Tickling Sessions
One of the things I like about these sessions is simply that they’re different.
I’m glad people enjoy so many different things. I find it interesting that something one person barely thinks about can be a whole fetish for somebody else.
That’s why I’m quite open to hearing what somebody actually enjoys rather than assuming everyone who contacts a Dominatrix wants exactly the same experience.

It can be. Tickling can be incorporated into dominance and submission, bondage and sensation play, although somebody can have a tickling fetish without being interested in BDSM generally.
Can I book a tickle torture Mistress in London?
Yes. I offer one-hour private tickling sessions in East London for £200. First timers and people with previous experience are both welcome.
Can you travel for a tickling session?
Yes. I can potentially travel to you for a one-hour session for £250 plus my taxi costs. Contact me beforehand to discuss the location and what you’re looking for.

Yes. Rope restraint can be incorporated if that’s something you want. We’ll discuss this beforehand along with your boundaries and stop signal.
Can you gag me during tickle torture?
A gag can potentially be included if we’ve discussed and agreed it beforehand. Because you wouldn’t be able to rely on a spoken safeword, we’ll establish an appropriate nonverbal stop signal before starting.
Can I tickle you?
No. I only offer sessions where I’m the one doing the tickling.
